Zhou Dongjiao: “Psychology Exploration” of Business Management in a Psychology Era
The 3rd National Seminar on Development Modes of Psychological Services Institutions and the 3rd Chinese Psychologists Summit were grandly held in Guangzhou from February 24 to 26. Zhou Dongjiao, Investor, President Assistant and Chief Human Resources Officer of Far East Holding Group Co., Ltd. and Executive President of Far East University, attended the summit as the only guest from Chinese Top 500 private enterprises invited to deliver a speech three times in a row. Over forty life education experts and psychological experts from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan attended the summit, including: Bai Xuejun, President of Chinese Psychological Association, Dean of Psychology and Behavior Research Institute of Tianjin Normal University, Professor; Yan Hongfeng, Secretary of Youth League Committee of department directly under the CDPF, Deputy Director of Workers Counseling Center of Central Government Department; Shi Zhanbiao, Director of Mental Health Promotion Center of Institute of Psychology Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Deputy Secretary General of Chinese Association for Mental Health; Fu Chunsheng, President of Zhongke Boai (Beijing) Institute of Psychological Medicine, Executive Director of “IEPSY”, Member of Youth Working Committee of Chinese Psychological Society; Xu Kaiwen, Associate Professor of Peking University, Deputy Director of Student Mental Health Education and Counseling Center of Peking University; Yue Xiaodong, Doctor of Psychology of Harvard University in the USA, Professor of the Hong Kong City University, the first President and President Elect of Division of Counseling Psychology of Hong Kong Psychological Society. They discussed the development and application of psychology in China today.

The theme of the seminar is “Based on Traditional Chinese Values and Aided with Western Application - Development and Application of Psychology in China Today”. There are 2 forums (Psychology Era and Great Vision) and 4 sub-forums (Institutional Start-up, Modern Love & Marriage, Therapy Exploration, EAP Application and Development) covering 40 academic topics with myriads of psychological experts, useful professional experience, rich forms and contents.
Zhou Dongjiao is Delivering a Keynote Speech
Zhou Dongjiao delivered a keynote speech named “Psychological Exploration of Business Management” at the EAP Application and Development Forum. She shared the psychological service management mode of Far East, which introduced psychology into human resources management, improved leadership and management art as well as employee happiness index by controlling human nature, seeing through human thoughts, managing human relationship and strengthening human power, so as to enhance the cohesion, inspiration, execution force, continuous fighting capacity and core competitiveness.
She reaffirmed Far East concept of coping with “new economy” by means of “psychological economy”. With the arrival of new economy era, the social environment is complicated and ever-changing. Enterprises and individuals still have something to hold on forever. Tomorrow will be yesterday, the persevering will persevere. She also shared her concept of “everything is but normal or blessing”, striking a responsive chord in the hearts of all the attendees.
Scene of the Forum
This seminar was organized by Chinese Psychological Society, Institute of Psychology and Behavior of Tianjin Normal University (Key Research Base for Humanities and Social Sciences, the Ministry of Education) and Collaborative Innovation Center for National Mental Health Assessment and Promotion; it was undertaken by Zhongke Boai (Beijing) Institute of Psychological Medicine, Guangzhou Sophia Education Consultant Information Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Sophia Vocational Training School. It actively responds to the call of “enhancing the basic research of mental health problems, implementing mental health knowledge and mental health disease popularization, standardizing the development of mental health services such as psychological treatment and psychological counseling” by General Secretary Xi Jinping at 2016 National Hygiene and Health Conference, adheres to the Chinese traditional values with the aid of western essence, discusses development and management modes of psychological services institutions, to promote national construction and business development.
